GMDSS SAFETY RADIO SURVEYS and VDR/SVDR Annual Performance Test (APT)

MRS Marine Services (M) Sdn. Bhd’s team of accredited Radio Surveyors are all experienced, fully trained marine electronics engineers and approved to meet and exceed the standards set by the BV, GL, KR, NKK, RINA, SCM, BKI and KM, providing a nationwide Radio Survey service. We are also approved by Pejabat Laut Semenanjung Malaysia to conduct Safety Radio Survey on Malaysian registered ships. By keeping up to date with standards and current thinking on safety and security MRS aims to provide an exceptional service. It is an approach to surveying and the inspection of Radio and GMDSS installations, which follows quality control procedures of the Survey Service.

Our experienced Radio Surveyors are trained and equipped with the latest test equipment to carry out Statutory Radio Surveys and Inspections on GMDSS installations for all categories of vessels and equipment onboard fishing vessels, commercial yachts, cargo vessels,tankers, ferries and passenger ships.

For Radio Surveys overseas we are happy to organise the attendance of a local Classification Society approved radio company. Should any service or repairs be necessary we can also arrange for follow up service calls to repair any problems. MRS Marine Services (M) Sdn. Bhd. have built up reliable working relationships with many overseas radio companies around the world covering most of the major ports and equipment manufacturers.
